A little curiosity. A world of chess.

Pondering
Rook.

Exploring a more conversational
way to learn chess.

Meet the idea

Every move starts
with a question.

Pondering Rook is an early-stage project exploring conversational chess teaching and practice shaped around each learner.

It’s intended for children and older learners, with parent-managed accounts for children. The aim is to make room for questions, understanding, and practice at your own pace.

Thoughtful from
the first move.

The intention is an experience without ads, with careful attention to privacy and child safety. Those requirements, including how voice and data would be handled, are still being evaluated.

This project is in early development. There’s no announced availability or launch date.

A small project.
An open conversation.
